7th Grade - Linear Graphs

In real-life situations, we often investigate whether there is any relationship between two variables, x and y. One method is to obtain some corresponding values of x and y and then plot them as ordered pairs (x, y) on a coordinate.

Today we discussed how to make a table of values for a linear equation and plot the coordinates on a graph. Use your notes and your textbook to help you finish your homework for tonight.

The video below goes through an example using a more complicated equation, but the process is the same as the one we discussed in class.
