Thank you students for a positive and exciting first 2 days of the year!
There is no formal homework this weekend for Math or Science. However, please share the math challenge with friends and family and continue to think about ideas for how Pizza Thursday should be run this year.
Optional Weekend Math Challenge:
Take 2 sheets of 8.5 x 11inch paper. Roll one widthwise making a shorter cylinder, and roll the other lengthwise making a taller cylinder. If you were to fill both with popcorn, would they hold the same amount? Explain why or why not.
