When two quantities are related to each other, their changes may follow a certain pattern. For instance, is a sandwich costs $3 at the deli, you will have to pay $6 for two sandwiches, $9 for three sandwiches, and so on.

Thus, the amount you may is related to the number of sandwiches you ordered.
