7th Grade - Prime Factorization and Exponential Notation

Today we expressed composite numbers as products of their prime numbers. This process is called prime factorization. We also expressed these numbers in exponential notation.

All of the examples we covered in class are in your textbook, so please refer to Lesson 1.2 if you need a quick reminder. The videos below might also be helpful.
