Earthquakes and Volcanoes

Read pages 68 to 75 to get you started in creating your public service announcement on earthquakes or tsunamis  -- must include how they form, the damage they can cause, and what you can do to stay safe

OR

Read pages 81 to 86 to get you thinking volcanoes. Build a volcano and describe how they form and erupt. You must also include examples around the world and what geographical formations they are responsible for. You will be presenting your volcano and your information for the class.
NOTE: You should be able to describe HOW you got your volcano to erupt. What is the science behind the eruption you created?
