Now that you've gotten plenty to practice with prime factorization, let's put our brains to work and try some challenging problems. Try your best to apply all that you learned this week to complete the homework questions. Write down EVERYTHING you are thinking! Problem solving is about gathering as much information you know and seeing what you can do with it. I want to see your work and thought process on paper, even if you don't get an answer.
The process is just as important as the answer, if not more.

What does it mean to build a foundation?
After learning about tectonic plates and their impact on the Earth’s surface, you will choose one natural disaster (Earthquakes or Tsunamis), and create a 1-2 minute PSA (public service announcement) using stop-motion animation. Your video must include how plate tectonics lead to the disaster, background information on natural phenomenon and how people should act in these dangerous, life-threatening situations.
