To begin our next unit, we looked at the expansion of the products of algebraic expressions. As you complete your homework, remember the laws of exponents and the distributive property of multiplication. Use your text book as reference to help you remember today's lesson.
Below is a video that might be helpful. The video uses the FOIL method to expand the algebraic expression first. This is slightly different than what we learned in class. He discusses the method we learned in class after his FOIL example. You may choose to do either method when completing your homework.
